Back in 2017 I was on a panel at the IEEE Visualization conference talking about scale. For scientists (and for everyone), scale matters. And one of the main tenets of emulsion worlds is that digital scales in a way that analog can’t. So thinking a bit more fundamentally about scale, we can lay out a continuum of sorts and look for clustering or other patterns.
